Fencing kicks off on Saturday, July 1, in Salt Lake City, UT. Competition will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Halls 1-5 with medals awarded daily. All events are free and open to the public. The 10-day event will draw an estimated 4,222 fencers from 47 states and 428 clubs. A few notes about the qualifiers:

Location:

The Fencing Academy of Westchester

Age Requirements:

For Y14, fencers must be born between 2002 and 2005.

For Div 2 and 3, fencers must be born in 2003 or before.

How do I qualify for Div II and/or Div III?

The West-Rock Division runs the Division 2 and Division 3 qualifiers as one event. The top 25% of finishers will qualify for Division 2, and if eligible they will also automatically qualify for Division 3.

To determine the number of additional qualifiers for Division 3, we look at how many fencers competing were D or under — 25% of that number qualifies.

How do I pay for the qualifiers?

You cannot pay for the qualifiers via askfred. All payments are made at the door the day of the competition. We do not accept credit cards. We DO accept cash or check (made payable to The West-Rock Division US Fencing.)
